This comes 11 years after the game was originally released and critically panned in its initial state. In a chart shared with the press, the game had 4 million registered users in 2015, then hit 10 million at the release of third expansion Stormblood in 2017....

Announced last August, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is superhero strategy game that - drawing inspiration from the Midnight Sons comic book run of the mid-90s - follows a roster of familiar faces, including the Avengers, on an adventure that blends card-battling turn-based combat and Fire-Emblem-style relationship building. It was originally due to launch this March, but last November saw Firaxis and 2K make the decision to push its release back toward the end of 2022 in order to “add more story, cinematics and overall polish”....

The Wild West-themed Butter Barn restaurant appeared on Fortnite’s map at the start of its current season. The Big Bang in this case is a literal shot, fired in slow motion at your lover, and to stop it means to stop the bullet - in this case the earth. I honestly have nothing further to add than an expectant and encouraging look, because there is something so Pratchett-like about treating the birth of our observable universe as a noir mystery that I couldn’t possibly guess where Genesis Noir wants to take me, and that’s great....

Nakamura announced she had left Tango after a nine-year stint back in September 2019, prompting surprise from fans only months after her on-stage appearance. Sharing her story on Twitter, composer Jessica Mao stated she “worked on the editing/arrangement/implementation of the Freya chase scene” as well as the “Thor boss fight music”. However, despite her input, Mao said her name was not included in the game’s end credits as her contribution to Ragnarök didn’t hit the “minimum criteria” required (although Mao is unsure what “this criteria could be”). “Unfortunately, my name is not in the credits, and apparently it can’t be added in a patch update,” Mao wrote (thanks, PushSqure)....
First up, there are the ususal two modes which Sony here refers to as “Favour Resolution” and “Favour Performance”. The former sets your frame-rate and resolution to a targeted 30fps at 4K. The latter targets 60fps and uses a dynamic resolution upscaled to 4K. Both of these settings can then be tweaked further by applying the separate High Frame Rate Mode. This ups the “Favour Resolution” offering to a targeted 40fps, or alternatively boosts “Favour Performance” beyond 60fps....
