Unlike the raptors from Chapter 2, these creatures are not aggressive unless you decide to start a fight. Instead, they choose to wander about the Fortnite map looking for their favourite food - Klomberries.
Below you’ll learn how to find both Klombos and Klomberries, along with how to feed Klomberries to a Klombo.
Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed.
What’s new? Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived! New additions include Reality Seeds and Saplings and riding animals, along with the new Battle Pass, characters collection and map changes.

On this page:
These creatures are docile by nature, allowing you to walk up to them and even climb onto their back without a fuss, but, if you choose to attack them, they will turn red and respond with violence. At the time of writing, it’s unknown whether a Klombo can be killed in-game and, unless you’re prepared to die, we don’t recommend trying to do so.
If you feed Klomoberries to a Klombo, they will both change colour and shoot an item out of their blowhole. This can be anything from a useful weapon to a healing item to a shield potion.
Klombos also like to eat any spare loot lying around, so make sure you grab anything you want if one’s nearby.
By climbing onto the back of a Klombo, you can also use the blowhole to shoot yourself into the air. This will then allow you to glide for a short period of time, which is great if you want to quickly traverse part of the island.
Since they can wander, we can’t tell you exactly where to find a Klombo, but we can show you the general areas of where we’ve found them on the map below:
Remember - Klombos can and will move, so they may be outside of the areas shown above. We’ll add more Klombo locations as we find them.
Klombos can often be found wandering near Klomberry bushes too, which is very helpful if you want to feed one of these dinosaurs.
You can also purchase Klomberries from Haven - who can be found at the Lil’ Shaftie landmark west of Chonker’s Speedway - for 25 Gold Bars.
It’s important to note that, like all foraged food, Klomberries will take up a space in your inventory, so you may have to sacrifice an item to carry them. Eating a Klomberry yourself will give 10 HP or, if that’s full, grant 10 shield points.
Once you’ve found a Klombo, go to their head and throw the Klomberry out in front of them. The Klombo will then eat the Klomberry and, in return, an item will be shot out of its blowhole.
At the time of writing, there are two challenges related to Klombos and Klomberries. The first is a Milestone quest involving the number of Klomberries you feed to a Klombo; like all Milestone quests, it has 20 stages and starts with 5 successfully fed Klomberries.
The second is the Week 7 Season quest - ‘Throw a Klomberry while standing within 10 meters of a Klombo.’ The easiest way to complete this quest is to ensure your standing as close as possible to the Klombo when you throw the Klomoberry.
