Tetris The Grand Master May Be On The Way To Consoles

Tetris: The Grand Master is a series of tricky Tetris games made for arcades by Japanese developer Arika, popular since 1998. In a tweet spotted by Nintendo Life, Arika vice-president Ichiro Mihara broke the news that ports of the games were meant to be announced today but “had to be withheld for reasons beyond our control”, inadvertently announcing that the games exist at all. The ports will be of the arcade games, but a new entry in the series may be on the way too, although the licensor “has made it conditional on the success of these ports”....

The Legendary Logitech G502 X Lightspeed Is Down To A New Low At Amazon

It features a redesigned chassis compared to previous generations, with a sleeker look to it, and some key features changed for the better. For instance, the DPI shift button is both reversible and removable for the moments you may not need such precise aiming, such as during FPS games for instance. In other case, the fan-favourite dual mode scroll wheel has been redesigned to not only offer the usual ratchet scroll and free scrolling options, but it’s now also a tilt wheel for even more precise control....

The Original Forza Was Briefly Available To Buy Online Yesterday

The original Forza Horizon game was briefly available to buy from the Xbox store yesterday. While there’s no official word on whether or not the game’s return to the Xbox store was intentional, the racer has already been removed again, albeit not quite before some gamers managed to buy and download it (thanks, VGC). YouTuber Jamie Moran was even able to play it on their Xbox Series X and share the footage, stating on Twitter: “The First Forza Horizon game popped up again in the store....

The Sims 4 Getting Messy And Retro With Two New Kit Packs Next Week

The Pastel Pop Kit ushers in a selection of home furnishings and decorative additions - including mirrors, shelves, and desk items - with a focus on the “simple and psychedelic”. That means “quirky pastel prints, irregular shapes, and vintage vibes” inspired by 60s and 70s design. Next week’s second DLC, the Everyday Clutter Kit, does pretty much exactly what it says in the title, introducing items that can be used to give homes a “loved and lived-in” look - ranging from coffee mugs to magazine stacks....

Tiny home builds have been popular among The Sims 4 players for years, with the results being shared on social media, fan sites, and most recently The Sims 4’s Gallery feature. Until Tiny Living, the rewards for completing one of these unofficial challenges were the admiration of fellow players and the satisfaction of mastering a tricky task. The new Stuff Pack takes things a step further, introducing a new lot type - Tiny Home Residential - that allows you to formally declare your intention to build a tiny home and track your level of success, as well as allowing your Sims to gain a variety of benefits for your creative problem solving and attention to detail....

The Switch Remains The Best Console For Shmups Since The Saturn And These Are Some Of The Best

Once it was the novelty of having these things on the go, plus the ease of playing vertical scrolling shooting games as intended in ’tate’ mode with the screen flipped (and without worrying about permanent damage like I used to when pushing a chunky old CRT on its side to play Ikaruga as Treasure intended). Now it’s just the abundance of classics that can be dipped in and out of at leisure - and the thing I love about the humble shmup is how immediate they are, making them perfect for short blasts....

The Walking Dead Saints Sinners Free Aftershocks Dlc Is The Perfect Excuse To Revisit Zombie Infested New Orleans

You can really feel the zombie’s head crack as you plunge your blade into it, and the way the skull clamps onto the knife blade after the fact requiring you to tear it free with all your might? Well that creates a sense of immersion that’s pretty much absent from any other VR game I’ve played. This is just one of the many reasons why I proclaimed The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners to be the best PSVR game released in 2020, but with last week’s release of the free Aftershocks expansion there’s never been a better time to give it a try....

The anime-streaming service launched for Nintendo Switch in the UK this week, with a refreshed app design that will also roll out to other platforms in the future. Sony Pictures Entertainment bought a 95 per cent stake in Funimation back in 2017, and as of last year now owns it outright. Back in January, Netflix confirmed it would discontinue its apps for both 3DS and Wii U on 30th June....

This Aoc 144Hz Gaming Monitor Is Now Less Than 120

While higher refresh rates are some of the best features on modern monitors, the price of entry to 144hz monitors has been rather high, so some people might have held back from taking the next step with their screens. However, we’ve found a monitor which should be the new point of entry due to its price, and once you use 144hz you can never go back. The AOC Gaming G2590FX is a 24....
