The new platform, called the EA app, will replace Origin as EA’s primary PC platform on Windows, while Origin will remain as the main client for Mac users. EA described the app as a “faster, more reliable, and more streamlined gaming experience” in the official announcement. Other features listed include account integration with Steam, Xbox and PlayStation, automatic game downloads, and background updates. For Origin users, an invite will be sent out when all their games and content from Origin will be “ready and waiting” on the EA app....

Found near the Gatehouse Site of Grace, the Crucible Knight can be accessed at the nearby Evergaol marker, where you’ll be transported to a new arena to face off against the boss. Spotted by Nintendo Everything, a new box for the Nintendo Switch OLED now features a bright pink puffed up Kirby. Kirby is clearly so puffed up as he has just swallowed the box, contents and all. So, move over Carby, it’s time for Car-board-y (ok, yes, this needs work). Sadly though, this promotional box is limited to Japan, with no word on whether it will be coming to European markets....
F1 22, as it’s monikered, will of course feature all the tracks and new cars of the new season, alongside tweaked physics to take into account the ground-effect enabled cornering speeds of the new breed. It’ll also offer the debut of the new Miami circuit, as well as a refined race day experience that offers both ‘Immersive’ and ‘Broadcast’ modes, with the former putting an emphasis on you making the big decisions while the latter allows for a more relaxed experience....
F1 22 isn’t exactly a bold new era for Codemasters’ long-running series, and a familiar racer it most certainly is. It features the cast and cars of the new season - including Ferrari’s achingly beautiful F1-75, perhaps the best looking race car to roll out of Maranello since Enzo himself was calling the shots - plus the season’s new track that runs around the car park of downtown’s Hard Rock Stadium (if you’re wizened enough to remember the Caesars Palace race, first off condolences - but also isn’t it funny how what’s old is new again?...
Generally, big multiplayer games aren’t my normal go-to and shooters rarely grab my attention, so battle royales like Apex or Fortnite never cut it. As a platforming fan, Fall Guys held my interest immediately through its unique premise, offering a 60-player game show as we (usually) competed across platforming courses. I was hooked but that initial feeling didn’t last. I’m familiar with Season 2 and 3’s content, having played it in subsequent seasons, though I barely recall them at the time....

Like the Far Cry New Dawn photo locations mission it’s not particularly taxing, but it’s a lovely way to while away an evening, especially if you enjoy scratching that collectible itch. There’s no trophy/achievement for squaring this collection away, sadly, but you will grab five handy perk points as a reward for your trouble for finishing off the Audiophile mission. While you can purchase a map of the music player locations through the Cartography office, there are much better things to spend your Ethanol on, so here’s our set of Far Cry New Dawn music player locations to help....

Revealed in today’s Letter from the Producer stream, the new mode will be “relaxing solo content” that allows players to gather resources, care for creatures, build facilities, and earn special currency to purchase items. Producer Naoki Yoshida, who’s also been busy with the recently released Endwalker expansion for Final Fantasy 14, wrote an update on the game’s website explaining it’s been delayed by almost half a year. “When last we spoke, I promised I would have more information on Final Fantasy 16 sometime later in 2021,” Yoshida said. “However, I regret to inform you that I will be unable to keep that promise as complications stemming from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have delayed the game’s development by almost a half year....
Intergrade will freshen up Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS5 with improved textures, lighting, and fog effects, and there’s also a new Graphics Optimisation Mode, offering 4K resolution, and a 60fps Performance Optimisation Mode. Additionally, Intergrade players can take advantage of a new Normal (Classic) difficulty option, improved loading times, and a new Photo Mode. Owners of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PlayStation 4 will be able to download Intergrade on their PS5s for free (it’s also available as a standalone PS5 release for newcomers), bringing over their save data if need be - although Square reminds players a PlayStation 5 with a disc-drive is required to upgrade from a physical PS4 copy....
Sales data provided to Eurogamer by app-tracking firm Sensor Tower shows the game has racked up more than $959m in global sales across the iPhone App Store and Google Play to date. This makes Fire Emblem Heroes the most lucrative mobile game launched by Nintendo to date, far ahead of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp ($267m to date) and Mario Kart Tour ($259m to date). Behaviour Interactive’s competitive multiplayer third-person shooter was consigned to the Warp last night, on Friday, 10th September. It is no longer playable. Eternal Crusade launched in September 2016 on PC, with a planned console release published by Bandai Namco that failed to materialise. It had four playable factions: the Space Marines, Chaos, Orks and Eldar. Richie Shoemaker penned Eurogamer’s Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade review, calling it “an ambitious and promising multiplayer shooter take on 40K that’s left Early Access a little prematurely”....
On PS5, the game has been tailored for the Dualsense controller, while on mobile the Touch series returns to Apple devices via Apple Arcade after a year’s absence. In addition, the game will be added to Xbox Game Pass on both PC and console from day one.
